Two charming opal bugs have settled upon these diamond and white gold earrings from the Enchanted Palace collection, seemingly resting before spreading their pavé diamond wings in flight. Recalling the fashion for insect jewellery in the Victorian age, which was driven by a fascination with the natural world, each miniature element of the bugs is handcrafted in 18 carat gold, from its delicate legs to its tiny antennae. ​

The Enchanted Palace collection is inspired by the Victorian whimsy on show at the Great Exhibition in London in 1851.
