Gigi Rainbow Necklace

“I designed this piece to represent the rainbow that comes after a storm. The storm is the hard times in one’s life, be it trauma, sickness, or loss. The rainbow represents new beginnings after those hard times. I named this piece after my grandmother, Gigi. She was such a colorful person and had a positive impact on everyone she met. She was always kind, patient, and a role model for me. I have always said that she was like a mother to me, and I a daughter to her. I had to say goodbye to her on December 4th 2022, after a hard-fought battle with cancer. 2022 was the hardest year of my life, my storm, but after losing her, my life took a new turn. I consider 2023 to be my rainbow year, and I feel like Gigi has a hand in that. I hope this piece is worn as a reminder of hope, positivity, love, and new beginnings after your storm.“
